Dear All,
Thanks very much for the wonderful dinner for our farmers this week. It’s not every day that our folks from Happy and Bovina and elsewhere come to Austin to pay my filing fee, and I’m grateful for your part in showing them a good time while they were here.
From all accounts, our press conference to pay the filing fee in dollar bills, paid by farmers, was a huge “media” success. Perhaps the good “agricultural products” they consumed the night before had something to do with that success!
Again, our thanks for your help in this effort. I’ll be counting on you all as the campaign progresses, and keeping in touch.
